I hope to God you got your parents to fill a COPPA form for you, otherwise it's technically avoiding federal law to be on here under the age of 13 without parental consent.
Did you set up a static IP?

Did you set up a static IP?

A better question to ask is..

Do you have a dynamic IP or static?
And, What kind of router do you have?

Considering that you can't setup a static with a dynamic.
Unless you already have a static. Which would make this conversation pointless. :D

Just a small hint, dont mess with your router settings unless your dad says its ok.

i just said i tried every method i could find and that was one of them

Your doing it wrong somewhere.

I'm guessing you screwed up setting up a static Ip.
Also, triple check everything you did and make sure it matches the directions.

You have to click Query LAN if you're joining your own dedicated server.

You do realize the difference between LAN and WAN right?
Your ISP determines if your WAN IP is static or not.
YOU (with the help of a router, any one works) determine if your LAN IP is static or not.

I assume you didn't disable firewall or enter tcp/ip settings.
