Author Topic: MOTHERloving LIGHTNING ALL OVER MY TOWSON WHAT THE FU  (Read 2538 times)

WHAT
My power WAS out, so was internet.
It came back like a minute later.
It was right in the middle of WoW, so I was like "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFforget."

Also my brother's computer jitters. Like just randomly, it'll freeze for a second and go back normally like nothing happened, and it affects audio. CPU percentage in Task Manager spikes up to 70% whenever it happens.

I was in a metallic building when a bolt hit it. All the lights flashed from the surge and anyone near the walls felt a slight tingle. I of course had my hand on a metallic door handle, so I got frazzled hair.

Chicago; Pfft, you people down south.

Chicago; Pfft, you people down south.
Nah, mid-east more or less.

Last year, we had something that you're talking about here in Phoenix, Arizona.
It was amazing.

Why are you playing wow in the middle of a GIGANTIC THUNDERSTORM EVERYONE IS DEAD OH NO

thunder hit in front of me a month ago :c

How2internet with power out?
Computer Generator, I has it :D

It looks like some of those storms are headed for Williamsport if I'm correct.

Yay!

How2internet with power out?
Oddly enough when the Towson generator, god knows where it is, kicked in, the FiOs did too. I guess the Fiber Optics line wasn't destroyed, but the power was. No power = no router power = no FiOs.

Power came back, router rebooted successfully, phone and tv still worked.

That's loving IMPOSSIBLE.

Thunder is the sound silly ^.^
Lightning is the thing that goes zap, and kills you.

This

times 9000.
Sounds like you could

Ride the Lightning.

When I was in Mumbai at my grandparents' apartment, I heard a lightning strike in the parking lot right outside and below our balcony. All I saw was a huge flash and a loving loud bang. Being in India, we all assumed a bomb went off and then didn't bother getting up from the couch.  :cookieMonster:
