Author Topic: What should I buy for my laptop?  (Read 1515 times)

1.I have no cords/cables what-so-ever for it.
....Also, what do you suggest I buy to keep the laptop safe/protected/clean/etc.

Download AdvancedWindows Care V2 or anything above it. It's a quick scan that detects and repairs immediate problems. I also have AVG installed on my PC and it does good, you can set it so it scans when your computer is still on but you don't have to start it yourself.

EDIT: AWC also cleans up junk files.

For a laptop? What are you talking about?
Er, a battery charger?...

Depends heavily on the laptop.

I would recommend a car adapter.

Franky they are way over priced but worth it. If you're like me you could use an online tutorial to make your own but if you've never held a soldering iron in your life don't bother.

It's about the size of a matchbox.

Avast = BEST.loving.ANTI-VIRUS... in my opinion.
My paranoid dad insists on using AVG... I H.A.T.E AVG.

Does my laptop need any cords or whatnot besides a charger?
(double post :o)

Do you have a router that you can wirelessly connect your laptop to?

Well, the only internet router things I know that we got is a purplish colored thing that says "CISCO" and "Etherfast Cable/DSL Router With 4-Port Switch" on the front. and a black one that has "Touchstone Telephony Modem" and "Battery  Telephone 2  Telephone 1  Link  Online  US  DS  Power" on the front. Will that work? lol
