Nameing shapes:Blender (help)

Ok when i try to name a few shapes the same it wont let me. =/ like if i call it Shape1 then ext will be Shape1.001 help me i want to know how to name them the same! plz help me!

Select multiple shapes then hit ctrl j. This will join them together to form one big shape.

well acualy i cant export to dts when ever i try it just says an error so what do i do with the DTloveporter

no... it says an error i just said that... the export thing wont even show!
im trying to export the ZIP file but i dont think i put it in the right place last time so were do i export the ZIP file

ImportError: No module named _abcoll


so the dts exporter that i have isnt working... it the one that you get when you choose download at the BL home page
can i export with something eles and change it to dts or wont that work?
