K-ON! isn't just about saving the music club. That's just the first few episodes.

Lucky Star admittedly doesn't have much of a plot. You have a tad of a point there.

The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzimaya is an anime that floats around a science fiction theme.

Also if I remember correctly, all of those are by the same studio

Yes they are all made by that studio; before you make assumptions based on the very little knowledge you have on a certain subject. Learn more about it, there are plenty of anime that have very interesting plots. A lot of people here mostly talk about Lucky star and those types of anime because they are cute and appeal to them. Much anime is aimed at the mature level I'm not talking about hentai or anything like that though that too is anime. I'm talking about how many are about very serious topics there are far too many examples to tell about. But read the descriptions on these six.

huh. Ya know, after reading 'the road', about a boy and his dad walking down a road with barely the will to live... i would probably not dare touch that. but i've said before, I would try and probably like any anime...that i can understand, i like listening to english... which is why im trying to learn japanese. anyone can help with that?
