if they see this they'll be pissed.

(i play roblox)

They have no reason to be.

xC, is the roof CFramed on that?

EDIT: Building isn't hard. It's easier than building on BL, because you can resize bricks, grab, and drop.

CFramed?... I have no idea. Was that sarcasm? o_o I remember seeing something about CFrames when I was at Roblox but I never really figured out what they were.

It's just slanted bricks.

A brick that actually goes like a ramp, versus a wedge mesh they use that doesn't work like a ramp. It's a block but looks like a mesh so you can't climb it.

Oh, were you referring to the picture of Killhouse I had there for a few seconds? :P

If so, no. They're actually slanted, you could walk up them.

I set up kind of "braces" to keep it in alignment, and then had a brick so that I could hit play, have it drop (unanchored) with collision (but have it not turn in any other direction because it's blocked by the anchored braces) and have it actually fall into the other brick (and stopped from bouncing away or getting into a bad position with more braces )which was anchored without collision, then anchor and set collision on both. I also did that for the horizontal beams, which actually go directly through the other parts.

Ninja edit: and if you're referring to Facechild's house, yes, they have a mesh on them, they react like cubes.

I've tried that method once. And I'll never try it again.

I like that, though. :P

Roblox has too much phong.  Also, the house really looks crap in BL.

It looks like crap on Roblox, too.

But nostalgic crap. It's the building on which I spent at least 100 hours breaking with bombs and rockets and many glitchy free domain weapons because it was the first 3D physics game I'd ever played and it was freakin' awesome.
I actually still do that sometimes. I like their physics. <- Old video of mine

Cool video. I see you must play it a decent amount of time because of your hat. :P

I loved building on there, that's why it was hard to leave.

I say the only pro to Roblox is that you can freely resize bricks. I think I'll spend the next 4 hours writing everything else about it on the "cons" list.

It took you 3 hours?
Well, I had both of them open at the same time, so I could reference.. I did it about a week into being part of Blockland, so I wasn't running a server or anything either. It might have been an exaggeration, but I'm pretty sure of it :P   It's much easier to replicate buildings that are already built in the other game.

Did you use custom bricks?

Wow. Im suprised this hasnt turned into a "ROBLOX SUX" flame war.

This only happens when some idiot comes here. But, This house looks alot better on blockland than it does roblox.
