Noobs are part of the community and have the right to share their opinions. You shouldn't be a richard to people for being new. Everyone was once new and a lot of newcomers have been great additions to the community.

o and yes blockland is open source.... maybe not the game files, but everything that makes blockland great, maps addons etc... is completely open source... hell take awway user created content and your stuck with a pretty boring game... sure there would be some fun things to do, but it would not ahve taken off like it has...

You can build perfectly fine without user made downloadable content.

Only big minuses I can see to building without it is no duplicator/fillcan/doors.

Although I think the user made content makes the game a lot more fun, as you can build things to use said content with (TDM arenas, zombie survivals, ect.) but the main purpose of this game is to build which you don't need add-ons for.
