K so I read all the port forwarding posts, and I did as they said. So I go to start a game. I open another Blockland so I can see my ping. Its dead. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Does the fact that I have vista add any further problems?

Operating system does not affect port forwarding at all. So it's not Vista's fault.

Start>Run>ipconfig
tell me the IP it shows in there.
Goto your router settings, and get me a picture of what you put in.

I got 192.168.0.101 as an IPv4 Address, and 192.168.0.1 as Default Gateway, and here's the picture http://twitpic.com/fybrn
Sorry its a twitter site, Its all I could think of -_-

I see what the problem is.
Get rid of that, and check Applications instead.

1. I have no idea what I'm doing in applications, 2. I just tried doing something I thought might work and still dead. Any other ideas?..
