server's up!

new city, too. come get the prime lots while they're hot

I can't spawn items!!!
Part of our script means blocking Item and vehicle spawning. That's right. We don't want people spawning a gun and killing everyone then claiming LOL HITMAN. The server becomes absolute CHAOS. I have an RTB prefs system that allows me to input ID's of people allowed to spawn items or vehicles. That's right. Commissioned store owners. Said shopkeeps are moderated and license disbanded if they disrupt the RP.

Thats better than any random shop that can be opened up.

I can't wait until my internet is up so I can get on and be a Fisherman. You should probably have a lake and dock. So we can fish and Move to other cities with boats.

I didn't know anyone else on Blockland had a chat script like that. Disappointing, I thought I was original.  :cookieMonster:

On a further note, we're trying to work out a system that operates without an administrator immediately present. This may come in the form of a new money system and events to purchase land or structures.

Mine is a bit more army role-play friendly, though with a whole radio system that includes setting and monitoring frequencies.

I like yours, though.

Yeah, ours (IceBlues/Solarflare's with radio modded in by me) is a bit more complex, but pretty easy to use. The main difference is that regular/team chat are switched - regular chat is local, regular with a caret (^message) is like /me, teamchat is radio and team with caret is OOC - this encourages more in-character communication since OOC is fairly out of the way.

All to help forward this, I even made a tutorial with giant glowing signs pressuring people to accept the chat system.

Somehow people still get it wrong.

The chat rules are generally ignored, lol.

But... We never caught the evil mastermind...
