from where i live (malibut) the top of the GIANT smoke tower looks like popcorn :D

Here in Arizona (Kingman, at least), there's tons of smoke blowing around from the fires out there.
They didn't even let us go outside for PE today. Which is good, because it's always blazing at 110 degrees each day here.

Where I live 2 hurricanes recently passed by. I lost power for a good few hours during the first, at which point my desktops multiple battery back-ups (3 big ones each with enough power to run various systems in our computer room and 2 smaller ones for emergencies. All of which are connected to 2 surge protectors) kept my computer running for atleast 2 hours. Though no internet. :(

On my trip to moving from Las Vegas NV, to Portland, OR on the way through we drove through the northern part of California and near Mt. Shasta there was a giant fire about a day or two sooner. Pretty sad seeing nature die. :\

Anyone else from San Diego around here :D

In on an island so I'm fine from fires. yay for me :D
