But it doesn't make you any more of a good member, does it now!
It might.

Blockland is not dying.New players join, they learn the rules, and become mature players. Then they invite others, and the cycle continues. The more players that join, the bigger the community grows, the more players that join, the more that will learn and invite players.Youngsters that join will age,and they will become more mature. So Blockland just goes through normal cycles. It will SEEM to get worse, but thats because more people are joining. Then it will SEEM to get better. It just goes through a pattern. So stop fretting.Blockland is not ending! It is simply going through patterned cycles, like many other things in life. So,with the displayed information,Blockland is not ending.

Sorry if I sound mean saying this, but it needs to be said,

I don't think (I could be wrong) that you have been here very long, and therefore I don't see how you could know this.
I have been here for quite a while, and I have not experienced anything like this before.

I see the same variety in server choice that I did 3/4 of a year ago. Then again, maybe you're talking about before then.

Just think. By the time we reach the 25k's, most of the community will be mature, and kind.

Allright then, I will.

I will open a server today, I will password it, and only deccent members will be allowed in.

We will do a variety of things.

The password will be... GoodOldDays
I don't know how to tell you where this went wrong.

You still have my avatar?

I don't know how to tell you where this went wrong.
Was it when I started to type?

No offence, but you're just slightly turning this into an 'ID' thing.
The fact that carolcat may be newer to the game doesn't mean he is any less/more experienced at it, nor does it mean

Rather simply in my opinion, is that we either need to accept change and go out, enjoy the new servers, maybe try guiding them a little bit, make some new friends and try to teach them how to 'better' themselves at online play with other (maybe 'more mature') players. The other options I can see (not saying there aren't any more to this problem) are to either, isolate yourselves into more 'advanced/experienced/trustworthy' servers, spend more time upon single player, or if it truly comes to it for you, leave Blockland.

I would prefer to have the same 'close-knit' community feelings of old, but I'd just as gladly accept that there are new players whom we have to get used to.

Now if only people started using less un-needed Add-Ons in their servers, I'd be happy.
I've seen too many Rps/freebuilds offering Mini-Nukes and overly-sized vehicles. If people their Add-Ons to the chosen genre of the server, then, I could be happy with going to other servers.

But it doesn't make you any more of a good member, does it now!
If you're going to play grammar national socialist then that sentence should end in a question mark.
...

Yes it does. Did you know how to use the macro function when you first joined? Do you now?

Amen

I see where you are coming from, but I mean what I say.
And I say what I mean.
I said I have been here for longer to show that I have seen more of Blockland's "history" and hadn't seen any cycles.

Did you know how to use the macro function when you first joined? Do you now?
No I didn't, and yes I do.
And yes you're right there, I wrote the wrong thing really, but what I realy rather meant was that despite how new he is to the game, he can still know that the game isn't dying, and what the community needs in order to improve however much it needs to.
And now sadly, I can't word what I wish to say properly, but I hope that you can understand what I mean.
He needn't be an older member to understand what we're going on about.

Ok, that's fine.
and then in my opinion, I'd like to say that we have had cycles, in which things 'server-wise' and 'comunity-wise' changed. Introductions of Add-Ons such as CityRp clearly changed the way servers were playing. That may not be the best way to approach my argument, but there has defintely been changes in the way the community changed, with the introduction of new players/Add-Ons/abilities in-game (physics?)
Sorry, if that sounds a bit of a poor argument or doesn't make to much sense, cursed writers block came over me. I just hope you sort of understand my approach and opinions to the problem

Doubel toest.

Also, i don't even play this game anymore. It just doesn't have that fun feeling of knowing everyone anymore. I just come to the forums for the lulz.
