I remember when I led a rag tag group of starfishs to glorious and violent bloody victory in dogfights. GOD I miss how people used to actually strategise and co-operate and when it was about the fun crazy stuff you could do like making stairs into loving outerspace or driving on a badly made roadway through the kitchen. When I felt fear and comradery in the dark of a zombie survival game. Before we got hung up on emotionless Deathmatches, back when we'd race stuff and not care where the hell we went, then pretend to crash and start camping. I Remember when folks thought city builds were interesting and you built stuff to protect yourself or to sell stuff and it was effective. I remember when I was badass in TDM's and folks feared a madman with a shotgun. I remember Sniper rifles that were GOD DAMN sniper rifles with bullets that went 1000000 fps. I miss back when everyone would pile in a jeep and we'd just drive like there was something to be found at the end of slate. I REMEMBER FINDING THE EDGE OF SLATE! XD
I remember finding the corner too. I remember Ice Pack and Fooly Fun Commands, and the spaceship and wondering how the forget do you make addons. I remember having actual in game friends who watched your back and helped you build big stuff. I remember pills and being a special forces commando. I remember crouching with two other guys on that overhang in slopes and watching guys leave the enemy base until we opened up with sniper rifles and fought till the whole team came after us with miniguns. I remember high speed chases in Dunebuggies with a pair of red stuntplanes peppering us. I remember Pong and Guns akimbo and the rise of the tank. I remember the humvee and how everyone loved it. I remember the first boats and how fun they were. I remember playerTransform and Solar System. I remember the Tank Battlefield and Emerald Isles. Blockland has been good and bad to me, but god I love this game.
