Well, where do I start.
For one, ping is latency, which is how long it takes to send and receive a packet to the server in milliseconds. Lower ping is better.
Second of all, your ping changes with different servers as they are not all at the same place.
Thirdly, whatever your ping is, it does not determine whether you can host or not.

Oh and also, other people will see your ping differently. It depends on how good your connection is, how good their's is, and how far apart you are on the globe.

So then why are my servers turning up dead when I do the port forwarding? This is quite nu-sense.

Dead means no connection.
Either your ports aren't done right, or you have bad internet problems.

Start>Run>Cmd
In there type in:
ipconfig
Tell me the IP it shows in there.

Then on your router's port forward page, take a screenshot it and post it.

I'll be able to help you better after that.

I did that on my other topic, Remember?

I did that on my other topic, Remember?
I got 192.168.0.101 as an IPv4 Address, and 192.168.0.1 as Default Gateway, and here's the picture http://twitpic.com/fybrn
Sorry its a twitter site, Its all I could think of -_- Here it is..

Didn't I already tell you how to fix that?

No more help needed I finally got it all fixed :D Im so happy!

well, you can upload a lot of stuff to a hosting site. you can seed a forget load torrents. there's a lot of things you can do to raise your ping, but i don't know why you would want to do that :o
