[Character] all lines were 8pt except for the red part of his socks.

Please comment and rate X/10.

The actual size for this is 1600x1200, unfortuneately it didn't post that resolution :c

Edit1: Dynamic shading added and his left foot is changed slightly and pant line is added.

Well, it's okay, but I see a few problems.

For starters, his head is really flat. His feet look too small, and are pointing in strange directions. His pant legs are missing parts down at the bottom. Some areas aren't shaded. The clothing folds look weird.

His lips take up the entire length of his face.
But you managed to get normal looking hands which is a feat beyond me.

That would be the scarf I believe, also the hands are pretty odd too, large bold outlines aren't going to do justice on hands at all unless the drawing is very large.

It's a lovely start.Keep working at it and you'll be a great artist in no time!
And for my rating-9/10
9-It could use some work.
Some things I would like to point out for you to work on:
1.Pants legs are missing a back,
2.Folds of clothes are a little unusual,
3.The top part of scarf could use some work.

lol you smartass.

THIS IS SO HIGH RESOLUTION, IT DOESN'T FILL THE MOST WIDELY USED RESOLUTION!

I know I should be criticizing this for all flaws in the world of art but...

I absolutely love this. Something about it's completely unnatural pose and stature just reminds me of how I used to draw when I was in fifth grade, and how I would have loved to have my comics made public and be well liked and well known.

Don't let these starfishs tear you down (as I know they will) but I personally love this drawing. Continue on with it. A story would be awesome.

Just make sure you don't call people starfishs simply because they are giving their opinions. Everyone has that right, and by calling them starfishs, you are attempting to deny that right, thus making you the one who is acting wrong. Just thought I would clear this up, because I don't like that attitude, and it seems to be very prominent on these particular forums. If you think they are being starfishs here, you should try other forums, and see just how harsh people can get. Yes, there is a line, but so far none of these people have crossed it. They simply just gave their honest opinions.

If this many people have negative comments, then clearly something is wrong and needs work. One cannot improve if they only get positive comments, as they would never know what is wrong. It doesn't matter how much it's like taking a punch in the face. If this is truly a world meant for them, they will eat that punch and get back up and try to win the battle by improving. If it is not a world meant for them, then they will simply just stay down.

look like he's wearing one of those really tight shirts

Thanks for all the comments, yes I know there are a lot of flaws like his 'folds' and his 'tight clothing' and unnatural pose.

Thou shall attempt to fill your desires.
Also, sorry for not making him look completely lifelike (Regulith)

Also, Marcem better edit his post :3 -ish

Edit: Added dynamic shading to most areas.

I always just end up drawing a hand outline shape and shove some lines on it, so their better than I could do (not that that's saying much)
