-snip-

I have a right to call them starfishs then. :D It's just an opinion on their opinions.

And by starfishs, I suppose I should have clarified a little more. I meant the people who come in with no constructive criticism whatsoever and cut him down on his drawing, I didn't mean the whole community. My bad.

Also, I saw really positive reviews so far, I was meaning more towards those who would, again, come in with no constructive criticism. I mean sure, this has a lot to be critiqued for, and is no way perfect; but I just have seen it before, these people come in, tell an artist how awful his is with no support reasons, and then said artist will give up completely with all hope for art lost. I didn't want that to happen.

I meant it in the most defensive of ways, not in any way to insult the opinions of others. I shouldn't have been so vague in my posting, and I apologize.

As for the critism on this drawing: Supreme Guy, do take what they have to say in consideration as Trash Man pointed out, as the ones with real opinions usually are the artists of this forum and know what they're talking about.

Sure you have a lot to learn and a lot to improve with this drawing, but it hinted something in me a bit of nostalgia for days of old drawing comics when I should be studying. So like I said, a little story to go with this guy would be nice. I'm not going to critique the artwork for one reason, and that reason being there are artists here who take it so much more seriously than I do, and are way better qualified to give you some good constructive criticism.

So, again, sorry Trash Man, that was my own ignorance in saying what I said. I shouldn't have worded it that way.

Double toast:

I drew this as my form of criticism. It in itself is in no way perfect, but I think it fits more of the guidelines of what a cartoon of this stature is. I also realize a foot got copied somewhere along the line, I am too lazy to bother to get rid of it.

I'm not trying to steal your thunder by any means, nor am I claiming some higher knowledge of art, I'm just saying: this is how I would have drawn it, if you like my style, feel free to emulate mine in order to perfect your own.

Very impressive, but in the process you removed some of the main things I needed in Sy-X, like his spiky hair, and his standing straight But you have definently succeded where I have failed, and thank you once again for supporting me. In the furture I will Listen to what you have to say.

Thanks.
