Really, it does. I'm getting epic pain right on the vein, and when I make a fist, it hurts even more. Now, the pain is shooting up my arm RIGHT ALONG THE loving VEIN owowowow...

I have an ice pack on it, that seems to make it feel a little better. Post suggestions on how to make it feel better/comments.

And yes, I took some Advil.

It sounds like something is blocking the blood, forcing it to push through the veins. I'd suggest getting somefom of spikey object and stabbing into the arm. Eventually you'll hit the object, in which case you can dig it out with a blunt object, marbe a spork.

I'm looking at my arm, and I see a little red spot right on the vein. I am not gonna dig that thing out, hell no. I don't want to bleed all over my keyboard and my mom will freak out.

If it is shooting up your arm, then it could go to your heart or brain. And by then it'll be too late.

It seems it is on a cycle:

I feel fine for an hour.

It just hurts for half an hour.

It goes numb for a minute or two.

The pain shoots up my arm to about the elbow for 5 minutes.

Back to beginning of cycle.
