EDIT: I WUSSED OUT. THIS THREAD IS NOW FOR YOUR PROBLEMS WITH FEMALES, NOT MINE.

I'm indecisive. I'm not brave. I'm not encouraged. Don't say I'm immature, but rather actually help me out here.

I know this girl named Emily... she's in my grade and we've always been friends and the last half of second semester last year, we became practically best friends. I've always sort of liked her, one day I half blew it and it became obvious I had some feelings for her. I don't know if she got the accidental signal or not, but I think she did.

When we became good friends, she became different... almost like she liked me back. In all her texts, they ended with smiley faces or some really nice thing. She always said I was funny or something of the sort whenever I attempted a joke.

I talked to a trusted friend about it (one that doesn't talk to her) and she said that she thought she liked me too (by that, I mean she thought that Emily liked me aswell). She said to ask her who she liked, and I did. She just responded with "Idk" and I just let it be. But now she doesn't do anything of the sort of stuff she used to, and I'm afraid I blew my chance.

I've never before asked a girl out. I've been asked out twice, and I've never had a girlfriend. I also thought in the back of my mind that if I forgeted it up, it would be done for, and I felt something for her like I never did before.

What should I do?

You can also share your troubles here.

Don't be a cigarette and just post on here to tell me I'm an idiot for asking the forums and to call me a lifeless idiot who runs to the forums every time something happens. One thread is one thing. As I explained in countless other posts on this thread, I can't tell anyone else because it's like trusting a voice recorder not to replay something to someone.

Stick it in her pooper.

...

We're both not that type, just to get that out there. I realize it was a joke but my friend always brags how he's already had love with his girlfriend and he's even younger than me.

Then again they both drank and smoked.

lol you're 14 and never had a girlfriend

and you're telling me a 13- couple has drank smoke and loveed? that's bad ass

Girlfriends are for squares.

He turned fourteen the end of August.

It's a trend, I guess.

I was going to edit, but you posted first.

In all seriousness, I've been through the same thing. As nervous as you may be, ask her out. That way you won't wonder and waste your life thinking about it. If she says yes, great, you got a new girlfriend. If not, yes, it'll hurt. Try your best to get over it (Don't come here and whine please) and ask if you can just be friends. After a bit, if she still shows interest in you, ask her out again. Same thing as above, but instead of trying to ask her out a third time, you might want to look for someone else. Hope this helps.

I didn't have one till this year. I think it's better to just be friends with girls first to understand them. And that way, you could already have some potential girlfriends that won't break up with you when you tell them you are a major geek who plays with legos online. ;)

There's four in my grade, lol. Quadruple loss.

-snip-

Playing Blockland is the last thing I would tell my friends... or girlfriend.

I might when school starts, if we start texting again. I don't talk to her much now anymore for some reason. She went out with my ex-best friend for a while (who was the loveer) but they didn't last. He's so full of stuff, before when I told him I might like her he just said she was a bitch, then the friend asked her out a while later. I'm just like, DUDE? WTF?
