Jesus forget you have bad luck with computers.
Just buy a new one and save money. I mean it.

So, I will. I will, for my birthday. I'll either get this laptop: (Toshiba Satellite with Celeron Processor)

(Click for specs)

Or this one: (Toshiba Satellite AMD Athlon™ X2 Dual-Core Processor)

(Click for specs)

The Story: Well, the blue one was on sale for 300$ so I was gonna get it... until today, back to 350$, but the black one went from 450$ to 400$, so should I spend the extra 50$?

DON'T GET A LAPTOP UNLESS YOU NEED ONE

I've said it many times, others that own laptops have said it. Many times. On this forum.

Get a desktop.

Get a desktop.
I already have a gaming desktop.

I have a epic desktop and a 2002 lappy, both of which are very useful.

Do you want it so your siblings/parents don't kick you off of the computer, or is it for school?

I already have a gaming desktop.

Then spend your 400 on one of these: http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/graphics/ati-radeon-hd-4000/hd-4870X2/Pages/hd-4870X2.aspx

If you do no need a laptop do not get one, they are not worth the money unless you need it for work or school. If you just want to look cool carrying something get a iphone or something.

so your siblings/parents don't kick you off of the computer
yes

plus, the desktop, is the one my mom bought, but I put new graphics card, etc,

plus, I have to travel between houses alot

I think i have the second one...

Edit: mine had more, never mind

The Toshiba Satellite AMD is a much better system (by more than a $50 margin). However, I would still not recommend either.
