Anyway, Ephi, if you don't mind answering a small question...do you have any idea what the RTB Connect GUI will look like?
I have no idea why you're interested - You lost the right to use RTB a while back.
There's some news. Unfortunately Space Guy has decided to take a permanent break from reviewing add-ons. Contrary to popular belief it is an extremely demanding job and it's a lot to ask for someone to do it (and for free, too) so well done him for lasting so long. On the downside, it's now just me since Resonance_Cascade seems to have also bailed, he cracked after about a week

Reviewing may be a little slower now because of this, but never fear because I am once again going back to RTB's favourite all-female recruitment agency (where we found the RTB Mod Bot, Cron Bot and Stat Bots (but not BlockBot, that's another story)) to hire our latest addition to the team; Review Bot! Review Bot will be replacing most of the work done by Mod Reviewers and will only pass over work to me when she can't decide on what to do. I'll have some more details eventually but for now you should just bear in mind that reviewing may take a little longer than it usually does and the tolerance for poor quality add-ons will be ... low.
On a development note, I got a little bored working on v3.3 because I found a huge annoying bug in it so I've just stashed it somewhere in the cavernous rtb svn repository and I'll get around to it later. However I have been working solidly on v4 - the server and authentication code for it is now in place and it seemed to run fine with a couple of unit tests I wrote for it. I've been optimizing and extending the custom XML parser I wrote in torquescript specifically for RTB Connect and testing that too. Next stop is to begin designing the client (code design, not prettiness) which will be a monumental task and no doubt I will have an unyielding need to re-code it for v5 (because hindsight is undoubtedly the most valuable programming asset).
And that's the news -
over to Mocheeze for the weather.
