Renaissance Festival.

Pretty awesome. I went there and lo-and-behold there's a lot of people in old garb, with swords. I was so disappointed I didn't get to wear my sword, Excaliber.

PEOPLE I SAW:
Gandalf the Grey. Walked passed me.
Saruman/Gandalf the White. Standing by a wall.
Green Link. Lurking in a crowd... I think it was a chick...
Red Link. Walked passed me.
Altair. While AC sucked, I cannot deny that this character is awesome. Me and a friend were like "We need to get an altair costume and follow that templar guy around". I saw Altair sitting on a bench.
Templar Knight. Saw him periodically.
Jack Sparrow. By the pub.
and lastly
The Doctor. Yeah, I saw some guy dressed as The Doctor lurking around. I award him best costume, for creativity.

Next year I'm going to go in a costume.

Holy stuff I went to it last year! I'm most likely bringing a fake weapon this year. I almost got a nice staff, but it was gone the last time I passed. I also wore my spiderpig shirt all the shop owners took pictures and made comments on it. I'm wearing it this year to see if anyone recognizes me

I've always wanted to go to one, me and my girlfriend where supposed to go to one but she had a competition in Tennessee the week of the festival. She said she wanted me to go but it wouldn't have been much fun.

Two guys were walking around in Japanese wear, with fake Katanas. Ugh. Wrong country and era. At least Link was fantasy-medieval, and Dr. Who was creative/made sense. If your sword is Japanese, don't bother bringing it. You'll look laaaaaaaaaaaame. It's like saying "can i play guys, i have a Ka-tan-a so im cool liek a ninja"
