Author Topic: Airsoft... "Gamemodes"  (Read 1721 times)

So I used to airsoft with some people. Then it got really boring and every game was the same. But I kinda wanna do it again cause it can be fun. The problem is the people that I used to play with make it laaaame... what are some ideas to make games more interesting? That would force them to change their tactics for every skirmish? I'm not talking stuff like Capture the Flag, I'm talkin' unique stuff.

Also I know there was an airsoft thread, I checked the first 2 pages and it wasn't there so I made this. This is different than that thread anyway :3

have a team match on some inflatable rafts on a river :D

:O lol would be cool

And we always play team games fyi. FFA = D:

Crawling only

search and destroy  :cookieMonster:

Attackers place a timer on "target" which lasts for lets says 30 seconds, then the defense has to press stop and "defuse" the bomb.

And you can buy weapons at the start of each round.  You get "money" for killing people.

Don't forget "hostages" who stay in one place until someone tells them to follow them and have to be brought to a "rescue zone."

Remember to crouch for increased accuracy.

Game modes we (real men) play:
Team Deathmatch: Teams spawn at opposite ends, and attack.

Assault: One Team defends, the other attacks

VIP: One player is unarmed. The attacking team must get him to a designated zone to win. If the VIP is killed, defenders win.

Hostage: Adding an extra run to VIP, attackers must rescue the hostages first, then get them to the safe zone. If all die, defenders/terrorists win.

Bomb Assault: The attacking team must defuse a "bomb" to win. We use a microwave and set it for 5 minutes.

Extra rules:
MEDIC!: One designated player can heal "dead" players via field medicine (tying a piece of gauze to their arm) to give them one extra life, assuming it's 1 shot kill.
Dropship: Attackers start somewhere else entirely, and are airlifted (pickup truck) to the location.

Kill the commando or KTC. Both teams have on leader. The leader has low ammo and needs to be guarded well. If one team "kills the commando" the opposite team wins.

If you want to be extra fancy get one of those vans with the sliding doors and leave them open

Zombie Survival: (good if your short on guns): Teams: more zombies than humans. humans have 1 gun each.

Materials needed: At least 1 airsoft gun(loaded), some kind of way to signal whether you are a zombie or human. etc.*

How to play: Always have more zombies than humans. Humans have the gun(s), and zombies have nothing. Zombies can get a head start to hide. Zombies need to wear the infected symbol (shirt off, hat on, wearing zombie mask, etc.). If a zombie touches a human, the human drops his gun, (careful with this. if its dark out somebody could step on the gun, so if you wanna play safe, maybe have a 'dropped gun' tables set up somewhere), and the human puts on his infected sign. Zombies die when shot anywhere, and they go to a dead zone. If all the survivors become infected, the original zombies win. If all the zombies die, the survivors win.

*suggested: glow in the dark BBs if playing at night (just for awesome effect), and you can add any items you want, like possibly a medicine to heal 1 infected survivor back to human-ness.

Yes this game can be unfair. and it can be completely fair. it depends on what kind of yard you play on. my friend has a huge yard with a bunch of hiding places, plus we can play all around the neighbourhood, so its a really good game at his house.

Always carry a knife, you'll run faster.

Ow?  Wouldn't that be kinda dumb?  I would REALLY want to go after a guy wielding an airsoft gun unarmed!

Heres one I made up to play with friends, I call it two man tactical. Everyone is split into teams of two, the last team remaining is the winner (duh),  but if your partner dies if you can hold your hand on him for 5 seconds he is back alive. Makes for very exciting tactical games
