This is my first model that I made in Milkshape. I couldn't save it becuase I didn't buy Milkshape, so instead I Downloaded Google sketchup.

Please give me Constuctive critCIAm, I am looking to Improve!
EDIT: I just Tried Using google sketchup, I will have an updated model pic up soon
EDITx2: I Found The Sound From Metroid prime... Just incase Whoever needs it has it.
-Link has been removed becuase I am Working on model more-

Less stacks on your cylinders please.

MASSIVE TEXT DESKTOP IS HUGE

Add some kind of animations. It'd be cool to have a mode-switching cannon. (Power Beam, Missiles, whatever)

Ok, I just need to watch a little Tutorial on how to make ramps in sketch up, then i will post a new pic
Edit: I figured out the ramp thing on my own. Here is the pic...

It still needs a lot of work though. Also, Mntdew, Could you export this for me When I  finish please?

9 PEOPLE ARE HANGING OUT IN ESKAPE COVE 1 RIGHT NOW, AND WANT YOU TO VISIT! GO NOW!

On-topic: In that recent picture, you use way too many polys. Try a 12-sided polygon instead. (Click on the polygon tool then type 12S and hit enter. Works with most numbers.)

thats amazing who is going to script and will it have animations?

Make it so when you press the light button or a keybind, it switches to one of the beams from the first Metroid Prime, cuz in my opinion, those are the best beams.

Make the cylinder 8 sided.

Wave Beam FTW

Well I dont know how to script at all. And They say never release your first add-on, which I planned on holding true too, But when I finish, I guess I would send you the link if you PM'ed me. I have made more progress on the model... not a lot just a little tweaking I think I will post the pic

I Agree... Well here is the new pic

I made the nozzle a Little shorter, Brought in the two side things in a little bit. And The yellow Part now goes from red to yellow. This is pretty much the finished product unless Aphiax, or Mntdew have any suggestions for the model. I am Extremely apriacitive of the constuctive critCIAm, In fact Here I found this for You metroid fans out there
Thanks again!

Nice model, although VERY plain, nice model.
