Flash... right?

Well, I have been looking for flash. I am assuming the program is free. But, anytime I search for it, I always get Flash player. Could someone link me to it?
Or correct any misconseptions?

That is the actual program, and no there isn't a free version.

I'm sure they have lesser versions you can get.  The one they use at my school cost $20-$40.

Flash is very messy and really not that great of a language, learn something like Java or C++, which is a good base language to learn.
