I lag when filming, but on Blockland only?

Hey, when I film on Blockland I lag, a lot. But on other games, like Jedi knight 2, I don't lag.



Anyone know what to do?

FS or Regular Window? If RW, Put some files from your desktop into a folder SO less lag. If that doesn't work, (If your server) Lessen the add-ons.

Gee, maybe because Blockland and your screen recorder are both memory-intensive programs?

You must be doing something severely wrong.
I have a computer that probably can't even run Jedi Knight 2 (RAM/VRAM required?), but I can still record on Blockland.

Which recorder are you using? Try Fraps.

I find that, even on this new $2000 computer, if I use screen recorders other than FRAPS, I get massive FPS drops no matter what. But if I use FRAPS, I only drop about 10FPS even on other games like L4D.

I am doing nothing wrong, I use FRAPS and Camstudio, as you see people dis-liked my video because it was laggy, so I switched to Camstudio. I drop massive FPS on both games.
