Author Topic: Azimuth - Leaving Forever!  (Read 3780 times)

Azimuth claims that he is "leaving forever", yet he did not make a goodbye post or even say anything in Drama.

Leaving forever.  I have had many of my best and worst times here, and have stayed far past due.  You can contact me but I won't be on as of writing this.  I feel I need to gather myself.  I may never be back, and soon I will completely disappear.
 Adiós

Upon reading his profile, the above quote is left in his signature. His avatar claims to be "leaving forever" but within his farewell speech he uses some interesting wording to suggest that if people really want him to come back, that he will.

Quite frankly, it would seem as if he is entertaining a major loophole. Rule 5 of the Blockland forums states that pleading for sympathy is not allowed. Does this include also doing so in a profile?

What say you, the forum community users? Should he be banned?

why should it? he didn't make a big deal about it so leave him alone...

That is not a "loophole" it is exactly the reason why rule 5 exists.  The only reason people announce that they are leaving is to see how much sympathy they can soak up.  It is pathetic, parasitic behavior and we don't need that stuff here.

He is now permanently banned and I say good riddance.  Really, he should have been banned much earlier for being a complete dumbass.

Previous bans for Azimuth:
  • 3 Days, Spam topic.
  • One week: handicapped posts
  • One week: If you don't care, don't post
  • 2 Weeks: Trolling

Not much of a loophole to me. It is posted in his signature that he is leaving, so that is about the same as making a topic or post on the board.

yet he did not make a goodbye post or even say anything in Drama.
Well, I'd imagine that he didn't make anything about it due to the fact that if he were to do so, he could have his account banned. And if he ever wishes to come back again, then he'd need his account working.

What say you, the forum community users? Should he be banned?
Nah. that'd would just be mean to get him banned while he's away.
