Author Topic: Collision model for JVS.  (Read 1718 times)

Hey,

I've done a JVS door, totally working but without a colliding shape. When I try do add a colliding shape, after the brick/door is planted, it show the colliding model, with no collision.

The real problem is that I don't really know how to make a colliding shape for my door.

Anyone have a tutorial?

And just for you, he is my 'Wip' JVS door:

Edit: Wrong section, sorry.

Neat model, good luck on this project

I can't be any help though sorry

$JVS::Content::Type::datablockShape = "contentShapeManholeCover";
$JVS::Content::Type::datablockShapeColliding = "contentShapeManholeCoverColli ding";

The collision shape is a separate invisible DTS file, I think.

Looks good, but if I may be so bold, you might want to make the handles a little closer together. They look kinda odd so far apart, but it might just be me.

I'm pretty sure its just the same model with a collision mesh added, I'll have to check to make sure. I don't quite remember.

It's the same model with the collision mesh. The one with out it is used for the ghostbrick.
