Author Topic: What are the differences of a normal PC and an Alienware computer?  (Read 786 times)

Is there any differences besides, the look, the monitor, and all the stuff inside its tower?

Is it possible to make a normal computer, like the one I have right now, like an Alienware? Just upgrade everything in the tower. All the memory and processors and junk? =\

Yes. Alienware is a brand name, like DELL. They're  fast stock computers, but you can ALWAYS build better ones, typically for the same price or less (or more for more awesome).

What do you think I should buy for a SR2010NX, Compaq PC, to make it have these?

1.Great gaming(Hardly any, to no lag)
2.Great graphics(Almost 3D?)
3.Great sound(I wanna be in the war :D)

Other info(if needed)

System:
Microsoft Windows XP
Home Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 2

Compaq Presario
AMD Sempron(tm) Processor
3400+
991 MHz, 448 MB of RAM
Physical Address Extension

Thats some stuff I found on the Control Panel>System page.

If you were planning on buying an Alienware, I'd recommend you build a new computer with the money.
(I can't believe anyone uses Compaq anymore wtf)
