Also, I did all this on my Fender Starcaster that I bought in a $200 package from Sam's Club, the guitar sucks so bad, and I need a new one. The high E string broke, so I had to replace it with my acoustic's high E. And it feels like everytime I play, the strings are sanding the fretboard down.
