Lets make this an inteligent discussion oe im making my own topic. First why do you think an inteligent life form that  is afraid of us the same way, and hates us the same way we will hate them because of how we look just come to Earth and try to conquer it? For all we know we can be the last two civilizasions in this galaxy. I dont think that someone that understands the Universe much better just come here and kill us all because once they come here you know you are dead and resistance is a fail, they came here with space technology that we probably never even thought of or bothered to think of just because everyone else does not care. There are many stepping stones in life that must be built beofore even try to walk over them.

Edit: And the people that say that there is absalutely no life of any sort from a germ all the way to a walking animal in space are the people that still think the sky is a round ball around the Earth and the sun is just a bright circle in the sky that needs worshiping, these people will not exist in the future because these cultures will be extinguished into one civilization of one language, one type of money system, and probably still one type religeon because all others will turn into terorists who are still willing to folow their ancestors ways and willing to die for one reason. To stay behind.

As far as I'm concerned, Riot. Any alien race that happens upon us and sees how we as people behave, I can fully understand why they avoid us like the plague. I'm sure they would have blown us to bits by now, but I'm sure they are taking front row seats to see us do it to ourselves first. After all, it'd be a great way to see living history of how their civilization used to be before they got over themselves and actually worked for the common continuance for their assured existence.

If the universe is indeed infinite, this gives unlimited chances of more life-compatable planets. If the universe has an end, this gives limited, yet numerous chances.

Of course it's happening right now. What'd you expect when we can't even be civil to each other in a forum? Imagine if we all lived in the same neighborhood. I'm sure someone would be beaten dead by now for their big mouth. And people wonder why the world is turning to stuff. Gee, take a good long hard look in the mirror and ask yourself if you're doing anything to contribute to the problem. I know I do my share now and then, but apparently that's the only thing people respond to these days.

Also...I'd love to see an alien who gets a light year to the gallon. Because they need to raise some stuff up here. lol

Personally,I do think that there is the possibility of life on other planet(Hey,they found microbes from mars.)but advanced life like the human being is unlikely,but possible.It would be a waste to make a never ending universe,and just create one dominate life form on one small marble in the vastness of space.Either way,we may never know if aliens are real or not,but if they are,Stockpile ammo and weapons.
