Yesterday, I got a .22 Rifle and I'm a little short on cash, does anyone know where I could get a good, cheap scope. Comments Greatly Appreciated!

Please, post the model and preferably a picture too.

I'll see what I can do, all I really know is, it's old.....

By the sounds of things, it might be a re-bored Bolt-action rifle left over from WWII. I personally detest bastardisation of perfectly good rifles like this.

No I found the model it is the following:
m-49 .22 cal short, long, long rifle
Ithatica gun co. made in USA
It is a lever action rifle
Looks to be from the 50's or 60's
Pics should be posted shortly

IF its from WWII don't put a scope on it. Most WWII rifles didn't have scopes nuless they were snipers. You don't see M1 Garands with mounted scopes, or Kar89k's with scopes on them. Thats silly

Sounds like a real antique if it's Lever-action and using .22 Short.

They weren't manufactured with Picatinny rails, silly. If you wanted a put a scope on, mount a damn rail on or screw it in and mangle up the furniture.

GOT THE PICTURES :D

Yeah, I know its a bit worn...

It looks as if it's been neglected, just how old is it and how much did you buy it for? It looks like a real antique.

Call of Duty games do not display the proper names, but instead abbreviations and nicknames. Don't quote games, people who use real firearms will just smonday behind your back.

Irrelevant, because it actually is the Kar98.

Irrelevant, because it actually is the Kar98.
Hence, my point is proven, and is totally relevant.
