Yeah so I'm not reading through the past 5 pages of whatever the forget half of that is, but let's just reiterate and clarify on the ground rules.
First, if you break a building code, too loving bad. We do allow some very minor exceptions if a well-done build is in an advanced stage, but if your build is marked or demolished, there was a really good reason.
Second, admins, which as some of you forget also includes Diggy, are not there to baby you. If you forget something up with another user, it is your fault. If someone scams you in such a way that you could have avoided, that was your fault. Scamming via events is different, however, so report those.
Keep in mind that 'babying' includes fetching because you're too stupid to not jump in a loving hole, resolving player drama, and generally getting involved with game affairs such as arrests and wanted players hiding out in their nuclear bunkers until the end of time.
If an admin wants to get involved with any of the above, they will. There have been plenty of times where I've intervened in player drama (albeit unsuccessfully) just to try and get you guys to shut the forget up for once.
Furthermore, if you're reporting someone for an unfair arrest, don't. Only report for arrests that break rules such as jailbaiting and rapid-fire batons.
Third, rules are rules. If you break them you will be dealt with according to how we've dealt with past offenders, according to your own record of breaking rules, as well as according to our own judgement. This also means that if you're trying to get a player banned by reporting every little thing they do that could possibly be stretched to maybe be an infraction of a rule that could exist, I will hate you sincerely. As you know, people who I hate sincerely don't last very long.
Finally, this is not so much a rule as it is me clarifying why I hate half most all of you. Admins are around to keep players in line, and to generally make the server a better place by expanding the city and adding all sorts of nonsense. That is what we had in mind when we signed up for the position, not running around trying to deal with idiots who can't see past their own nose on server issues and yet still try to become involved.
You know who you are.
If you want a genuinely fun time on the server, you'll leave admins alone on server issues, and you'll stay out of them yourself. We are not only much more equipped to handle them than you are, but we know all of those little secrets that we utter in admin chat that you guys don't get to see. It's like the admins' book of secrets.
If you keep out of our business, don't do stuff that you know will cause trouble with us, and respect other players, you will not only make things easier for you, but you will give admins more time to do their goddamn jobs and add more interactive features to the city and to the mod.
This time around, I am personally having even less tolerance than before for those of you who refuse to cooperate with the server. You don't understand the motives we have beyond your own despairing struggle to fight us. We are here to make the server run along smoothly and to give each player an equal opportunity to have fun. Just because you've been around for x years on the server doesn't enable you to have special rights or privileges. If you want me to be specific, filling lots with useless corporation buildings that serve no real purpose other than giving you some false sense of power is unfair to players who need lots for themselves. Lots that we consider useless may as well be flagged as abandoned.
tl;dr - Follow the rules, stop crying about everything, and have some respect.
