That's right, I am filming it, or helping film it. I have custom music tracks as well. I just had a server saying "heed died" as a joke to prelude the movie. I need a crew of fellow movie makers, this is going to be a full length film. Heed medieval is on hold for a while and heed modern war is being released next week. Pikmin is far beyond my reach atm and all i am doing is monitering it right now. This is where I make my final stand in projects. I need people, then I make a topic about it.

Had to get that out.. ermm. If you're making it a 'full length film' you realise even 120 minutes long is going to take you a year or two if the outcome is to be remotely entertaining to anyone (since even playing BL gets boring to me after playing 120 minutes straight). Maybe look around the 10-15 minute mark, and emphasise on one perk of the movie (like the humor or the sharp plot). If you can't bring yourself to water it down that much then put each perk into one of the characters. Like, Sparrow would always be witty and Elizabeth would always advance the plot.

You'll never outdo the original at anything, so trying to recreate it would be silly. Heck, Disney even knew they couldn't outdo PotC1 - that's why they brought in Davy Jones and sea monsters and stuff :D
