How much ram you have? That could be the case.

If you use Vista and have only 1 gig ram, you can have huge problems in some games, yet others will run fine.

Wouldn't hurt to also check drivers like the earlier posters mentioned.

That game wants 700+MB of free ram. That's a lot for a 2-d game. And you can bet, that the actual optimal performance amount is more.

i has 2gb or ram with vista
EDIT: i dont have pixel shader can someone link me

No no no.

A pixel shader (1.1 for braid's requirement) is a Graphics Card issue.

It's safe to assume that you are using a laptop no?

Nope pc

Nope pc
PC stands for personal computer.

So, yes. You have a computer.

I'm sure you meant desktop.
But ok.

It looks like you need a new graphics card son.

i have a nIVIDIA GeForce 6100

GO to Controlpanel/System

look at your computer's score

if it's less than 5. Then this game will run like crap most likely (again I have not played this game, but seeing those specs, makes me think it's rather demanding).

If it is less than 5, go to the link by the number called (Window's Experience Index).

Find out what hardware is below a 5.. This is likely what you need to replace to improve performance of demanding games.

I'm guessing its the vid card. But I can't be sure until you tell us your score for it.

Probably a result of the video card. I bet you that is what is causing it to be so low. It only goes as high as your lowest scored Hardware.

Whatever is giving you that 3, is what you need to replace first. Anything else below a 5, also should be replaced.

its both my graphics and gaming graphics

That's the video card.
ill wait till Christmas when i get my new computer :P

I can't remember which document you open up, but you go into your Steam folder, go into your name, go into common, find Braid, and find this document where you could change your settings or something like that. No need to get a different graphics card, my brother did this and it worked.
