Author Topic: Using Blockland for Homework.  (Read 967 times)

So yeah, my teacher let me use blockland as a virtual tool for this social studies thing, my goal is to build something related to social studiesa 4 paragraph essay on Medieval Castles. What do you all think of this? Is it a fun choice, or should I stick to writing some boring ol' paper?

Do it.  Let us know how it goes.  This could be interesting for future use.

I did this before, with Blockland v0002.
But, it was for something different. You built something with LEGO's, then you'd take pictures of how to build it (like a LEGO manual), but, seeing as how my camera failed to work, and I didn't have a cell phone at the time, I pulled out Blockland, and made my pictures in that. Everybody was very impressed, and I got 200/200 points for creativity.

Nice, haha.

I really used Blockland only once, for a "nuclear reactor fire" picture.

Oh, you.  Just use a default build.  Unless you really have to build your own.

Awesome.

I have yet to be able to use Blockland for school. :(

One of my friends made a short movie with it about some war for history class.
He got a bunch of points taken off for it being "too violent"
In other words one guy got shot

Same here, I might make one of my most recent builds into RL for fun though.

WAR IS TOO VIOLENT BUT WE CAN STILL TEACH IT TO YOU

Meh, I'd rather not piss off the orignal creators. Besides, I look forward to building a decent castle.

Haha, I did it once too back in v0002 on rtb.

Great fun.

ahh history they try to teach you crap lies like "i cannot tell a lie" a very hipocritical sentence it was written after old George's death
