Author Topic: Is there a way to force delete something?  (Read 782 times)

I'm tired of vista's bullstuff. Is there any way I can forcefully delete something without vista being handicapped and eventually telling me I can't?

Task Manager -> Procceses

That closes it.

Oh delete? I thought you said close. Nvm.

I think you make a visual basic script with some kill function.

Well I'm stuff out of luck then, that's nice to know I guess.

command prompt > delete [file location]

Also, using the command prompt doesn't do anything. It still keeps you from deleting said file.

Well, actually I solved the problem altogether. MSN messenger needed an update for it to work, but the update broke it so it was unable to run. I am currently copying msn messenger onto a flash drive from another computer and I'm going to transfer it to this computer and see if it works. God knows why this computer is being so obnoxious about that program, but whatever I think it's fixed now.
