I've heard that PNG has higher quality.

PNG is what I like to call Picture Perfect, JPG has compression where PNG doesn't. Though if an image is massive res then the PNG is going to be huge then its better to use a jpg.

The images are not large, so use PNG?

All PNG's that I've tried to save in Paint.NET look terrible compared to 100% Quality JPG's.

I personally use PNG for everything, the filesizes are usually pretty reasonable for a lossless image, it supports full transparency and semitransparency, etc.

Now for exporting Flash Movies? How do i get the best quality?

As in, Not pixely or choppy

7.85 kb png image

47.0 kb jpg image

EDIT: Just export Flash movies in swf.

lol unless your taking images off your digital camera...
file size should never be an issue for pictures unless its for webpage use.
i mean... modern harddrives laugh at images

Funny thing is, PNG is more clear.

kk. Thanks everyone :D

Yeah, I lied. How do I upload a .swf file onto something that can play it on the internet? :O
