Trying to get atleast a budget between $600 (maybe lower)-$900. I already have a mouse, keyboard and speakers. Just told about half of it. And what do you mean what would I like to do with the computer?
Do you want to play the latest games or just school and internet?

I'm a big gamer, I'm starting to like PC gaming and my laptop can only run a few games. And I sometimes use it for internet and school, when I most need to.

I would just buy a computer it will be cheaper and it wont get broken :)

What games do you want to play? This PC isn't going to be able to run many games either...

If he gets something better than the 9600GSO it will.

Yeah. He'll need to pick out some decent ram too.

Something good enough to run GTA IV, Left4Dead2 (once it comes out), CoD4:Modern Warfare 2 (once it comes out), (maybe) Fallout3. That's pretty much my most wanted ones for PC.

Either a 9800GT or a GTS250. It's really a matter of how much power you want.

Would this motherboard work with my processor?

And is this good enough RAM?

The motherboard is compatible but it is a rather crappy brand.

Also the RAM is mediocre. You're better off PM'ing Reactor Worker with your budget and what you want to do.

Yeah, I was thinking of doing that once he posted.

Or you know, he could look into a card from ATI.

It's a good idea. He picked out my specs and here I am, nice kick-ass computer.

My only problem is stuffty RAM.
667 MHz 2GB and 800 MHz 2GB.
It's usually best to get at least 1066MHz RAM.

I sent him a PM, so now I will have to wait.
