Just FYI, Most landing boats were not able to get in as close as you got it, most soldiers had to drop their gear and swim to shore with their gun and maybe 4 to 5 clips of ammo that was water logged and prone to jamming, not to mention that most soldiers' guns got soaked and no longer worked.
