Anyway, since the word religion was mentioned, I believe it's my time to post.
That ban is a classic example of how piety ruins the moral values that do not require religion to exist.

Moral values are one thing, but to involve religion is pure horsestuff.
And it isn't really a sharp increase, I'm sure a good 90% of the players here are christian/catholic.
Catholicism is a sect of Christianity. Stop acting like it isn't. Also, if this figure is correct, I have a lot of roosterslapping to do.

If you do not 'believe' in evolution, you do not believe in the scientific method, don't know what a theory is (the highest level a hypothesis can be; is regarded as fact and is based on fact. The only way to go the extra step, proof, is do to do it mathematically. This is impossible for many things, which is why everything from gravity to quantum physics to relativity is a theory, even though they are true. A random hypothesis is not a theory), and really don't understand the mechanics of it.
Pagan can refer to anything non-Judeochristian. Because of the negative connotation our culture has placed on it, I find it an extremely arrogant word (especially considering judeochristian religions don't have much to be narcissistic about, although neither do any other religions...), and so I dislike the usage of it.
