Author Topic: Virus Devs  (Read 1935 times)

Have you ever imagined the friends that probably sit around on their computers all day with too much programming knowledge, then develop a stupid virus that comes and tears your computer to bits?

Discuss what you think about these people, what they look like, and why they do it.

Yes, have a loving virus on my computer right now that crashed it before and didn't get removed even when we took it to the shop. forget nerds.

EDIT: Nope, think I removed the virus.

I'm pretty sure theres some program that someone made where you just tick stuff then it makes an exe

Really?
You're stuffting me, right?
Do you even know where you ARE??

They're like the ultimate trolls. They get satisfaction from knowing their work is done, but quite obviously can never claim credit for it. They walk around day-to-day knowing they unleashed hell on someone's computer and laugh to themselves because they're badass. They're the lowest of the low, much like Riddler, they simply sit at the command while their drone does all the dirty work.

If someone I knew developed a virus, I'd personally destroy his computer after holding him at gunpoint forcing him to make an antivirus.

You'd hold him at gun point a-

lol'd

Yeah, good luck with that. :D

Well said.

They're starting to get a little bit smarter yet still oh so stupid in a way; this one was disguised as an anti-virus program that is tricky to remove. Along with virtually making your computer a doorstop, it says you have a bunch of fake viruses and it can't repair them if you don't buy the full version. So they try to rip people off AND ruin their computer.

Sorry bro, I sleep armed.

That's happened to me so many times.  It's always because it pops up while I'm playing a game, and I rush to close it and miss the X. :<

They say if you don't open it or activate the window then it won't set in.

I Googled how to remove it, and it said just close the application and registry for it, but they weren't open but it still wouldn't close. I just Searched it and went inside the file and deleted it from the inside out. If it were as simple as that I am not going to be happy.

From what I know from me hacking (my own computer, lol) the main reason it's done is for two reasons:

Challenge: They like some fun in breaking a firewall. I'd imagine making a good virus is actually pretty hard.

Contraband: It's fun because you aren't supposed to do it. Just like it's fun break a small rule without getting caught.

I think a main reason they do it is because they can avoid any idea of responsibility because they never actually see their victim.

Hm... never thought of it that way. Good points, but they still suck epicly large portions of ass.

I haven't had a virus for like a year now, learn2internet.

I've seen those things.  They probably have viruses in them.
