Author Topic: Zune Software - Wtf is your problem?  (Read 1547 times)

The Zune Software is starting to piss me off. After trying for half an hour to add a new credit card to the payment options and it giving me no clues as to wtf I was doing wrong ("Your account is not linked to Zune"), I eventually did it on the Microsoft website, where it actually had the artificial intelligence to tell me that I was simply trying to add a card that had simply been renewed, and I just needed to edit the expiration date.

Then, after getting some points to buy stuff, I get an album, it charges it, but it gets errors on all 12 songs, telling me "You have reached the maximum number of downloads for this item". Excuse me? I try to restore it and it tells me I have to buy it again, even though it already took the 800pts off my account.

I'm calling them tomorrow.

Anyone else get problems with it? It seems like a very flawed program. :|

Zune and iTunes can lick my hairy balls.

Windows Explorer for the loving win.

It's like iTunes.
"Ok, lets download this song! Confirm purchase, yeah!"
(download)
"Alrig- write error on file? Okay, lets redownload.

...

How do I do that."
(five help docs later)
"...I only learned that Genius sorts music for you based on your taste. WTF."

This, but iPods can't use that because they suck like that :|

Why is it so damn hard to download music? Honestly?

I'm guessing it's all that media rights crap it has to keep track of.

I hate how Itunes is overpriced, I mean I can get songs for $0.25 from other sources, legally.

I've never had any problems purchasing videos and music, and the rest has always worked great. If something is messed up it's probably your own fault.

music cds/dvds > ipod/zune/mp3

That isn't a fair comparison at all.

music cds/dvds > ipod/zune/mp3

See, the problem with CD's is I usually only like one or two songs on 'em, and I don't feel like wasting money (what are CD's now, $15? $20? I haven't bought one in years) on something when I could pay about a dollar or two and get only those tracks. Plus they aren't exactly portable, unless you carry around a big bundle of CD's and a CD player or DVD's and a DVD player.

PM me where. Lol.

Oh wow, apparently the reason I'm not getting my songs is because Zune horribly forgeted up.
