Author Topic: Dad dating = more of a jackass?  (Read 2580 times)

Hey guys I come to ask to see if this is true or whatever.

So my dad and mom went through a divorce like 3 years ago, anyways My friends parents got divorced a month ago. Also i've known my friend Robby and both his parents since I was born. Anyways a week after my friends parents were divorced My dad secretly started dating my friends mom. Of course my dad didn't ask us ( my sister and I) how we felt or anything that he was dating her. So when we were planning to move out of state she wanted to move with us.

Anyways one day they were kissing. Robby and I went to get a drink (they were over our house, duh) and we saw them and were completely shocked because 14 years of my life I've known his mom as a "trusted adult/friends mom" and that one second it changed to my dads girlfriend without anyone telling me anything. Then I started freaking out and getting all paranoid about stuff like "what if they get married" and "Ew, grose". Heres the best part about it My dad is broken, He has a titanium Knee, his two spine bones L4, and L5, are plastic, and he has depression. Robbys mom has depression also. which means they would never or could take us anywhere due to the fact they have mental issues and my dad is just broken. - + - = No.

So heres the main point of this topic,

We already moved they haven't. So my dad calls her like 5 times a day and will talk to her at least 2-5 hours with every call. He is a all around nice person, but whenever he talks on the phone with her he yells at me, calls me a little stuff and he usually hits me on the arm or tell me to shut the forget up.

I usually just ignore it considering him and her are just two lonely sick people.
But a few minutes ago I was talking to Robby on the phone and my dad was talking to his mom on his cell phone. I went out to get a drink because I finished my homework and I had to take my sleep meds, I walk out my room and I hear my dad in the kitchen and hes getting a glass of red wine, I walk and he turns the corner and runs into me the glass of red wine falls and hits the carpet after him screaming at me for 3 minutes I started to clean it up and apologies as he continues to say how much of a brat I am to his girlfriend I finally raged and said "Stop trying to act tough in front of your girlfriend." and he looks at me grabs windex and shoots it at my face, After cleaning it up and getting that shot at me I just walked away.

So to sum it up two lonely people dating = raging parents that attack there kids. :<

I read it. What a friend.

I read it. What a friend.
I do not agree with your wording but I agree with the general idea.

Why is it that people take me word for word?
Between the lines bro.

I am, I am. I just didn't like that word.
I said I do agree with you, doesn't that count?

It's creepy that your dad is dateing your best firends mom...

I am, I am. I just didn't like that word.
I said I do agree with you, doesn't that count?
I accept your offer.

Have your dad read this.

It may realize his own actions.

His father is an it?
How rude! D:<

You are a little stuff. Stop meddling in your dad's relationship just because you think it's weird that he's dating a friend's mom. Maybe you should stop bothering him for stupid stuff you can figure out yourself while he is on the phone?

...My dad secretly started dating his mom...

Misleading grammar is misleading.

Tell him that you'll sue for abuse next time he hits you and see what happens.  :3

My dad's been like a super starfish since he got a girlfriend, so I agree slightly, but I don't agree that he should ask you.

DAD: Son, Santa and I have been dating for the past 3 years.
SON: Dad...
SON: I am disappoint.

I'm sorry, it just came to me.

stuff happens, consider having yo best friend over permanently not a bad thing. Also note that if it was someone else and if she had kids that you hated you would be very pissed.
