wont be available for like 4 years i think it was. and even then the first tv's will cost at least 2k a piece. so no consoles will develop for them for a VERY long time.

dead end consoles lost the race
meanwhile computers are cheaper then ever and will have those definitions very soon

Look at that beautiful 480p, you can see every pixel!

I like the ps4 controller :D

Near the beginning of 2010, or the end of 2009, Nintendo will be releasing a holographic projector for the Wii. I think you need to get Holographic-compatible games though, unless you can get updates for games like SSBB or Animal Crossing. I don't think it counts as a "Next-Gen Console" though.

Also, it hooks onto the remote.

I hate the concept of spending $500 dollars more on a console when I could just make a long lasting PC for that same amount.

you say this but if you want a real gaming computer it's way more expensive than getting a console. But it does have more uses than just games. Also, you didn't say this but many people make the argument "great graphics" the graphics on an average computer would tend to be worse than that of a gaming system. A computer's graphics are only as good as it's graphics card.
