October's contest will have 2 winners. so far at least 1 prize will be a BL key.

We have decided to go with a community town, medieval themed build. Something most BL players know some of, so we can get more people in the competition. New clear rules in server about how to join and submit in contest, so to be easier around winning time. Will be smoother then this first run

Will be very organized and aesthetically pleasing compared to our current freebuild clusterforget of baseplates lol

Does the build have to be in the BLU server or can it be on our own?

yah it has to be built from scratch in the BLU server. that's just to keep it fair and new for everyone every month.
but having the entire month to work, it shouldn't be to hard to finish something.

Theres only 7 days left in september

well the dedicated contest server has been up for weeks. got about 35k bricks and several people's work
this month was a late start and no theme. next will be a fuller contest

these topics will come nearly the last week every month. the contest didnt just start, its been on

Whoever made the giant Blockhead should win.

Isn't this against the rules?

I claim/discuss the WIP mansion there. Soon to have a pool, main building, and hilly surrounding.

Isn't this against the rules?
No.
If he used the keys at a later time, then it would be.

why would you want to win a key, when you already bought one? shouldnt you just make demo users submit their own build?

because your friend or brother can then play with you.
no one said you needed to alternate between 2 keys. i dont care what you do with it.

to hell with demo people. this contest is for blockland players.

why would you want to win a key, when you already bought one? shouldnt you just make demo users submit their own build?
Why would you want to live if you accomplished your dream?

Suggestions for [...] next month's contest rules and theme are welcome.
One idea for a build that I thought would be pretty neat is a greybuild, where you are restricted to the use of black, white, and the greyscale. Another is demo style, where you may only use up to 150 bricks in your build, so you need to focus on the little details, instead of the scale of it.

I don't check the server list or gallery often, so I don't know if they have been done before...
