Author Topic: Chrome is spying on you?  (Read 2371 times)

Now that's old news.

Yeah it's the search suggestion feature.

They don't sell you, you loving idiot. They sell the information they receive.

I seriously doubt thats what he meant. loving starfish

I wish Chrome would spy on me, but it stopped working.

One time, my computer(RIP) was in sleep mode. I looked at it and imagined me turning on my computer. The next thing I know, my computer wakes up from sleep mode. :o
My current computer is really awkward when it comes to sleep mode.
Ever since I got my new cooling system for my processor, it has a problem where, after you put it in sleep mode, it shuts down the hard drives and all that, but all the fans stay running, including the one on the front of my computer, which lights up.

And, before I had build 7100 of Windows 7 on here, my computer could only stay asleep for 20 minutes before turning back on. It'd turn back on by itself.

I seriously doubt thats what he meant. loving starfish

I know he didn't mean that they sell your body. He's acting like they sell all of your personal information, not just some search history.

When you use noscript on Firefox you notice like 99.9% of websites have Google brown townytics, I think that is one of the things they use to spy on you, and so you can block that if you want to using that. I don't really care if they spy on me, as long as they don't tell my mommy all the bad websites I go to.
