You clearly don't see the immensely intelligent social brown townysis that Spongebob gives, it's the last good show to make reference-able jokes that actually have depth and meaning to them without simply being moronic bizarre humor. Spongebob runs on plot based jokes, whereas other shows, like say Chowder, is based primary on shock factor all while attempting to connect a somewhat feasible almost-linear plot.

Anyone who insults Spongebob insults intelligent humor at it's finest.
