Author Topic: I question my family's "personal privacy"  (Read 3815 times)

OK, so last night, My brother and I were watching "Death Note" and my dad happened to catch a death when he was walking by. He asked us why we were watching just a violent show. My brother told him that he doesn't control what he can watch, then I said that if people in this world kill each other every day, then why can i see it animated? I kinda forgot about it till this morning...He tryed to GET INTO MY COMPUTER! My dad couldn't operate a computer to save his life, so I was surprised. I have a password for my computer, and my brother didn't. So he opened ALL of my brothers history in different tabs. My moms computer and laptop had their password hint thing underneath the entry bar for the password, same with mine. This isnt the first time invasion of privacy happened to me, but thats not going to be mention here.

....Discuss or post pictures of cats

My mom does the same stuff to me too.

My parents never snoop around in my computer, or else I'd know...

I forgot to mention that she doesn't know how to operate a computer. It seems that your dad and my mom have something in common.

How old are you?

I'm 14, but the reason why Im so apart from him is because he keeps getting drunk and smokes 2 packs per day.

My parents don't try to get into my computer as far as I know.  But either way, anything I don't want them to have a chance of knowing about goes through Google Chrome's incognito mode.  ;P

Parents are well within their rights to "invade privacy" so long as it's for the sake of their kid's safety in my opinion.
