Author Topic: When I use shift-ctrl-p to take a screenshot, Blockland crashes.  (Read 799 times)

Title says it all. Ill have console log in a sec.

Also, I see in my console: failed to open file (base_screenshots_blockland_00 001)
and so on, just the number going up higher and higher. Please help.

You do not have sufficient privlages to access the Blockland folder.
For Windows:
If you're running Vista: Go into "Compatibility", under "Properties" of Blockland as an Administrative account. Make sure the "Run as Administrator" box is checked on.
If you're running NT/XP: You must be a Computer Administrator account type, and not have the Screenshot's folder Read-Only.
If you're running 98/SE, 95, 2000: loving update your computer. Get with the times.

I have adminstrator on my XP computer, im gonna check the screemshots folder.

I keep getting "attachment fail 1" when I try to post console log.

Does it instantly crash or become nonresponsive?
DOF screenshots may be too much for your computer.

Well, I get the console spam, and Blockland freezes. So, it becomes nonresponsive.
I'm gonna try to save console.log as a txt file and then attach it.

Double Toast.

I figured out the problem: my console.log is 2.2 megabytes.
I'll take off some of the spam, and triple taost with attachement.

Triple Toast

Here it is

Install a new copy of blockland to a different place, and try it without add-ons.

Will it erase my current Blockland?

On the clean install, it gets laggy for a bit, then goes back to normal. Also, while its laggy, I cant do anything.

Although laggy, it works. That means that it's an add-on causing the problem, or the original copy of Blockland has something protected.

Also, you aren't supposed to be able to do anything. Your controls are disabled so the picture doesn't get forgeted up.

I'll try redownloading new copy, but keeping everything.
