I thought the title said mourning a morning drive :o
But anyways, That sucks. D: Hope he gets through it.

You spent $351 bucks on a bird? l:o

sometimes, doing the right thing takes away from you even more.

I like the Mourning Dove mainly because it looks like a less colorful version of my favorite bird - The Passenger Pidgeon

Yeah :(
Hopefully it will be cloned back into existence one day

I managed to get him to swallow 4ccs of the food, so I don't have to feed him again for a bit. He's still not moving, but has fine motor control of his legs. Whenever I try to place him vertically, he just slumps back over to the side. This leads me to believe he has a problem balancing, which could have resulted because of the head trauma he received.

He was given an anti inflammatory medication, so hopefully any concussion swelling will go down.

He is fully alert, but breathing hard. His enlarged liver pushes against the air sacs, making breathing difficult. Another reason as to why he might not be walking is because of abdominal pain.

He's showing more signs of energy, but still not walking or standing.

I got up at 5 today because I was worrying so much about whether he'd survive the night. >.>

Good thing you don't have a cat.

Cats and men don't mix.

What kind of man has a pusillanimous individual?

This. Is. Serious. Business.

Poor little guy, I hope he's okay.

And one of my dove for good measure:

;-; is it going to be okay?
