Author Topic: Norton killed my steam ;(  (Read 2151 times)

And so comes the sad end of the steam folder ruthlessley murdered by Nortons unistaller.

Yet deep where deleted files are taken...steam lurks quietly plotting revenge.

All my steam games were lost D:
Freaking norton...

@OP I think its your fault you didn't look carefully at the install destination.

I had a similar experience a long time ago when I was running windows 2000.  Rise of Nations decided to dump into the Games folder instead of making its own folder and I didn't really care for a while but when i went to uninstall it it deleted everything in the Games folder.  And I didn't have system restore D:

Why would you install Norton in the first place?

I don't see how this is Norton's fault.

I'm sure it just is

No, it isn't.

There was a time where I selected the wrong folder to install Blockland to, and it cleared the contents of my "Program Files" folder.

Did I blame Blockland? No. I blamed myself for being an idiot.

Not everyone has FiOS.

;_;
You may have your little itty bitty GTX280 SLI, mothaforgeta, but I got FiOS :D
